Maintenance Assistant Volunteer (Bristol)

We are looking for a maintenance assistant volunteer to assist the maintenance team with the following: 
 
• Painting and decorating 
• Re- grouting and replacing silicone seals 
• Installing and repairing bathrooms fittings (baths, toilets, sinks etc) 
• Replacing shower screens 
• Replacing tap washers and taps 
• Fault finding and replacing internal toilet fittings 
• Small tiling jobs 
• Replacing switches, sockets, light fittings and extractor fans 
• Installing and removing white goods 
• Replacing door locks and fitting/adjusting door closers 
• Replacing window sash-cords 
• Repairing furniture 
• Delivering and assembling furniture 
• Basic joinery tasks, including flooring replacement 
• Other ad-hoc tasks as required 
The successful candidate will be expected to: - 
• Be well-organized and able to prioritize 
• Have a flexible, can-do attitude 
• Work to a high standard 
• Show good fault finding and problem solving abilities
